October 23, 2012 (KCEN) -- Officers in Lorena are investigating a break in at the Brookshire Brothers grocery store at 406 North Frontage Road that led to one officer to fire his weapon at a suspect.

Around 12:48 this morning the Lorena Police Department received a call of a burglar alarm going off at the store.

When an officer arrived, he noticed the front door of Brookshire Brothers was open. He entered the store and two people, who were both wearing black, went to exit the store.

Police do not believe anyone was injured.
