(KCEN) -- A Dallas-area high school student is in jail after he posted a threatening statement on Facebook last night.

The teen was arrested around 9:30 in McKinney.

That's after the McKinney School District told police about the Facebook post, which included details on how to carry out a mass shooting at the school.

There are reports the student may have been bullied.

His name is not being released because he is a minor.
