Presidential Candidates Hitting Swing States

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- With less than two weeks to go before election day, President Barack Obama is telling Americans that Gov. Romney cannot be trusted.

But a new poll shows Romney is closing the gap with voters.

The latest Reuters poll indicates a dead heat as the candidates criss-cross the nation's battleground states.

President Obama will visit eight states in only three days. He'll tape "The Tonight Show" tonight in Los Angeles and vote tomorrow in Chicago.

Romney hits Nevada and Iowa today and Ohio tomorrow after telling voters in Colorado last night the debates, "super-charged," his campaign.

Romney said, "His campaign is taking on water, and ours campaign is full speed ahead."

Early voting is now underway in four more states today, with President Obama still holding a narrow lead in a handful of swing states.
