(KCEN) -- Donald Trump's anticipated bombshell announcement today about President Obama turned out to be another attempt to get Obama to release personal documents.
Trump announced today that he will donate 5 million dollars to charity if the President releases his college records and passport documents.
The deadline is 5 p.m. Halloween night.
In a YouTube video announcement, Trump said, "A check for 5 million dollars. The check will be given an hour after he releases all of the records so stating. He'll be doing a great country to his service if he does this."
This is the second time the real estate mogul has asked the President to publicize this kind of information.
Last year, he was seen as a leader of the birther movement when he questioned where the President was born.
