(KCEN) -- Seasonal employees are working hard for the money and getting paid for it.

A survey by Careerbuilder found more than six in ten employers plan to pay holiday staffers ten dollars or more an hour this year.

That's up by nine percent from last year.

The survey also found 39 percent of employers who are hiring seasonal help say they plan to transition some employees into full-time, permanent staff.
