(KCEN) -- At least 40 people were killed in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan.
It happened outside a mosque during morning prayers in Afghanistan's northern province according to a spokesman for the northern Afghanistan police chief.
More than 50 were founded in the blast as worshippers finished prayers to mark the start of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
The number of casualties are expected to rise given the size of the explosion.
So far there is no word on who is responsible for the attack.
