LSU's 'Honey Badger', Three Other Players Face Drug-Related Charges

(KCEN) -- Former LSU football star Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu and three other former members of the football team now face drug-related charges.

Yesterday officers searched Mathieu's apartment while investigating a disturbance within the complex.

After smelling a strong odor of marijuana, they searched Mathieu's apartment and found equipment to process the drug as well as 10 bags of what they termed "high grade" marijuana.

He's now charged with simple possession of marijuana.
