Statue of Liberty Re-Opens After Multi-Million Dollar Renovation - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- Well, the Statue of Liberty was officially re-opened to the public on Sunday but because of Hurricane Sandy, people will have to wait a few more days to visit the landmark.    

The statue was closed for a year-long, $30-million renovation.  

The stairs leading to the Statue's crown were replaced.             

Wheelchair access to the observation deck was also provided.  

Tours are expected to start on Wednesday.
