(KCEN) -- A north Texas man wanted to bring Halloween to his backyard in a big way, so he spent thousands of dollars to do just that.
Dan Baker turned his backyard into an amazing maze of thrills and chills.
The father of two has spent a month and $12,000 turning his Lakewood Village backyard into a spooky haunted house.
The house covers a quarter of an acre and thirty actors are required to keep it running.
Baker said, "Why not? People do it for Christmas. How long is that given the attention it deserves in my opinion?"
He has decked out his yard for years, but this time he teamed up with friends to make it bigger than ever.
After spending all that money, the house is only up for two nights.
