(KCEN) -- The boil water notice that was issued on October 27 for part of Killeen has now been lifted.

Residents living from 3301 to 3605 Hilliard Avenue and from 3701 to 3909 Winchester Drive in Killeen can now safely consume their water.

City crews had shut off water to repair a water line. The water is back on, tests have been run and the water is safe to drink without boiling it.
