UPDATE (KCEN) -- The semi was transporting large, metal pipes, which became loose and blocked the lanes of exit 301. Crews cleared the pipes to the shoulder so traffic could be diverted.
The driver, a 55-year-old Mississippi man, was not injured.
Investigators say the pipes shifted as the semi turned on a curve in the road. The weight of the pipes shifting caused the semi to overturn. The accident is still under investigation.
I-35 northbound was reopened at 3:25 p.m.

UPDATE (KCEN) -- The overturned semi is now upright.
Officials are estimating cleanup to take 30 to 40 minutes. Traffic is now backed up for about four miles.
No one was injured in the accident.
