A head-on collision between a two-door car and a pickup truck injured both drivers and closed down both lanes of FM 93 during rush hour Friday morning.

Investigators believe the car was driving in the wrong lane and ran into the truck traveling the opposite direction.

Both drivers have very serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The car's driver was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be freed by firefighters using the "Jaws of Life."

They are still investigating why the car was in the wrong lane.
