(KCEN) -- One man was taken to the hospital in serious condition after he was stabbed by his step-father in Killeen yesterday.

It happened around 4 p.m. at a home in the 1600 block of Windward Drive.

Police say there was a verbal altercation between the 22-year-old victim and his step father.

The altercation eventually led to a stabbing. The step father then drove away in a white Dodge ram pickup.
