Sentencing Phase in Cummings Trial to Begin Monday

(KCEN) --  After Rickey Cummings was found guilty of capital murder during a tension packed trial the sentencing phase is set to start tomorrow morning.

The jury deliberated in for close to 3 hours after 8 days of testimony.

Cummings was found guilty of the murders of Tyus Sneed and Kennan Hubert.

The sentencing phase starts at 8:30 A.M. in the McLennan County Courthouse.

Albert Love, Darvis Cummings and Kennedy Hardaway have also been indicted in this case and are awaiting trial.
