(KCEN) -- Some of the biggest races in central Texas center around law enforcement.
Locally, Bell, Falls, Hill and McLennan counties are each voting for a new sheriff.
The Bell County sheriff's race is between Eddy Lange and Frank Hernandez.
In Falls County Rickey Scaman and Ben Kirk are running for sheriff.
Hill County has Michael Cox and Leon Rhodes on the ticket.
In McLennan County Parnell McNamara, Willie Tompkins and Charles Hutyra are all running for sheriff.
Other big races include Gatesville's vote on whether or not they should allow liquor sales.
And in Copperas Cove the upcoming election will decide on 4.7 million dollars for a better fire department.
