(KCEN) -- One man was killed when the Quicksilver ultralight plane he was flying crashed in the southern part of Limestone County.
The accident happened around 11:30 this morning a little more than a mile west of FM 937.
Sixty-nine-year-old Darrell Gene Sorensen was attempting to land, but instead aborted the landing, veered left and crashed into trees. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Sorensen was the only person in the plane at the time of the crash.
His body was taken to a Groesbeck Funeral Home.
