(KCEN) -- Thanksgiving is just weeks away and it won't cost you a wing and a leg to buy your Thanksgiving turkey this year.
Although the drought across much of the country has driven up feed prices, Americans will be able to enjoy relatively cheap turkeys this Thanksgiving.
That's because many retailers locked-in their costs in the spring when feed, such as corn, was cheaper.
So while the cost of producing a pound of turkey meat has nearly doubled, the retail price of whole frozen turkeys is up just five cents from two years ago.
