(KCEN) -- Former Penn State President Graham Spanier was officially charged today for his role in the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal.
He was arraigned on five charges today.
Spanier is accused of conspiring with two other Penn State officials in covering up Sandusky's abuse of several young boys.
Today a judge set Spanier's bail at $125,000, unsecured.
That means he won't have to pay unless he fails to show up for future court dates.
The judge also ordered that Spanier not leave the state of Pennsylvania without permission.
