(KCEN) -- One man has been arrested after he broke into a home in east Bell County yesterday.
Around noon, police received a call that someone had broken into a house according to the caller's neighbor.
The owner of the house told authorities his neighbor called to ask if a black blazer should be parked at his home. The owner said no and asked the neighbor to go to the house and see what was going on.
The neighbor arrived at the home, went to the back of the house and noticed a man walking out of the back door. The neighbor tried to stop the man and hold him until the homeowner arrived but was unable to.
The suspect, now identified as 29-year-old Jonathan Holleran, ran to the black blazer and fled the scene. While he was driving away, he tried to hit the neighbor with his vehicle.
Officers then received information that a vehicle matching the suspect's was parked at Airville Road and Highway 53 behind a grain storage facility. Police officers responded and took Holleran into custody.
