
The McLennan Highlanders fell to the Angelina Roadrunners 84-69 tonight in Lufkin.
The
game was tight throughout the first half with neither team gaining more
than a five-point lead. MCC lead 37-36 at the break with freshman Shawn
Prudhomme accounting for 17 of the Highlanders' points.
Angelina
began to pull away midway through the second half, taking the first
double-digit lead at 57-47 with 12:51 to play in the game. The
Roadrunners led by as many as 26 down the stretch en route to the win.
Prudhomme led the Highlanders with 20 points.
