
UPDATE: We now have the name of a Fort Hood Soldier who died after his car was hit by a train on Friday in Killeen.
Specialist Jeremy Wayne Berczik, 26, from Houston, joined the military in September 2004 as an M1 armor crewman. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 3rd Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, Fort Hood, since September 2012.
Berczik deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from October 2008 to January 2009. He also deployed in support of Operation News Dawn from August 2010 to August 2011.
He and 26 year old Coral Ghambi were in a car when they passed through the safety guard rails and were hit and dragged by the train for three to four blocks.
Both 26-year-old victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

UPDATE (KCEN) -- The victims have been identified as a Fort Hood soldier who was driving the car and Coral Ghambi, the female passenger. Both were 26-years-old.

Two people are dead after a train hit a car when it passed through the guard rails. It happened around 2 a.m. Friday morning at the tracks on College St.
Police say the train dragged the car three or four blocks to Gilmer Street before the vehicle fell off the tracks.
The train didn't come to a complete stop until another three or four blocks, on Fort Hood St.
Both 26-year-old victims were pronounced dead at the scene. A man was driving and a woman was in the passenger's seat.
The train conductor was not hurt. He called police when the accident happened.
It took four hours to clean up the accident and inspect the train before it could be moved out of the way.
Roads in the area were closed for a couple hours but they are now reopened.
