(KCEN) -- Chrysler is recalling more than 900,000 late model Jeep Grand Cherokees and Liberty SUVs.
The auto company says the vehicle's air bag control computer may malfunction, causing the air bag to inflate while you're driving.
The recall affects Jeep Grand Cherokees from 2002 through 2004 and Jeep Liberty models from 2002 through 2003.
There have been no reports of crashes caused by the airbags deploying while driving.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners in January and will install an electrical harness to fix the problem.
