KCEN) -- A stabbing in McGregor early this morning leaves one man dead and a woman injured.
Just after midnight, 49 year old Charles McKenzie was stabbed several times in the parking lot of a local business.
Thirty-three-year-old Augustine Guerrero was later arrested in connection with that attack.
Officers say Guerrero showed-up in the parking lot of the police station with 32 year old Paula Rios.
Rios had also been stabbed and needed emergency care.
That's when police learned Guerrero was the man wanted in connection with the stabbing.
He was taken to the McLennan County Jail.
McKenzie was transported to Hillcrest Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:10 A.M.
Police are still investigating what led to the attack.
