(KCEN) -- About three weeks ago Texas opened the fastest highway in the U.S.

This weekend the 85 mile per hour Highway 130 claimed its first life.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 130 around 1:45 Sunday afternoon.

A 60-year-old woman driving a Honda Civic had just entered the toll road when she collided with a Chevy Tahoe.

That woman was later pronounced dead.

The two people inside the Tahoe suffered minor injuries.

There's still no word on what exactly caused the crash.
