(KCEN) -- There is finally a launch date from Research in Motion for its next generation Blackberries.

The Blackberry maker has set a target of January 30 for its much-delayed new phones.

That's well past the critical holiday shopping season.

But at least the date isn't being delayed further after a few earlier setbacks.

The Canadian manufacturer is trying to win back customers who have ditched the Blackberry for other devices.
