Facebook is thinking about adding a new audio feature to its website.

That's right, Facebook is going to make noise now.

The new audio system makes a "ding dong'' noise every time someone writes on your timeline, sends you a message, or invites you to an event.

If the new sound alert is implemented, it can be controlled with a user's account setting.
