(KCEN) -- The Friends of the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery is looking for volunteers to help prepare wreaths that will be laid at the veterans cemetery in Killeen.
The organization plans to lay more than 3,500 holiday wreaths at the cemetery. The public is invited to participate in the annual Wreath Project.
Before the wreaths can be laid though, they have to be prepared. The group is asking volunteers to help do this on November 17 at 10 a.m. at the Killeen Special Events Center, located at 3301 South W.S. Young Drive.
They will also need volunteers to lay wreaths at the cemetery, located at 11463 State Highway 195 on November 24 at 10 a.m.
