(KCEN) -- One hero will get the chance to reunite with a baby he rescued ten years ago.
He found a sleeping infant wrapped in a blanket on the porch outside of a fire station.
Firefighter Wesley Keck can retrace the steps he made a decade ago when he found a baby on a cold autumn day.
He was cleaning up some trash when he went outside and found a baby carrier, covered by a blanket on the patio of Arlington Fire Station Number 12.
He still has a photo of the little boy he saved that day.
Koregan Daniel Quintanilla is now a fourth grader and brother to five sisters.
For his 10 birthday, he asked his adopted mother if he could come back to his fire station to meet his firefighter.
Keck said, "I felt good about the person that left him, they wanted a better life for him. And I hope somehow they see this story and they know the family that adopted him, how much he's loved and wanted."
The happy reunion will take place today.
