(KCEN) -- The New York nanny accused of fatally stabbing two young children under her care is now facing first and second degree murder charges.
Fifty-year-old Yoselyn Ortega was indicted by a grand jury yesterday.
Police say the children's mother returned home to the family's upper west side apartment last month to find her two young children dead in the bathroom.
She then witnessed Ortega stab herself.
Ortega had been a nanny with the Krim family for about two years.
