(KCEN) -- The Food and Drug Administration is investigating 5-Hour Energy drink's link to more than a dozen deaths.
The inquiry spans four years and includes 33 hospitalizations and 13 deaths.
There is no evidence the caffeinated drinks caused any of the deaths or injuries, but an investigation is ongoing.
5-Hour Energy shots contain the rough equivalent of one to two cups of coffee and do not contain herbal stimulants.
The makers of 5-Hour Energy say they are taking the reports "very seriously."
