
Ellison High School Athletic Coordinator/Head Football Coach Buddy McBryde has submitted his resignation effective the end of his contract.
"I have enjoyed my over seven years teaching and coaching at Ellison, though I have decided to make a change in my career. I am resigning as of the end of the current 2012-2013 contract year." Coach Buddy McBryde continues, "I want to thank Mr. David Dominguez, Mr. Marvin Rainwater and Coach Tom Rogers for having been an excellent leaders over these past several years. My greatest achievement is having positively affected the lives of so many young students and student-athletes at Ellison High School."
Killeen Independent School District would like to thank Coach McBryde for his dedication and service to the students of Ellison High School. KISD will begin the search for a new Campus Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach immediately.
KISD Executive Director of Athletics, Tom Rogers stated, "We would like to thank Coach McBryde for his dedicated service to the kids and staff at Ellison High School and his loyalty to the KISD Athletic department. We wish him luck as he moves forward in his next endeavor to help kids be productive citizens. We will begin our search for his replacement as soon as possible so the transition to new leadership at Ellison High School athletics will be as seamless as possible."
