(KCEN) -- An 88-year-old building in Downtown Dallas is now a pile of rubble.
Demolition teams brought down the vacant eight-story Thomas Building this morning.
It took a matter of seconds for about 300 pounds of dynamite and other explosives to level the building.
Onlookers gathered at a safe distance to watch.
The building was built in the 1920's by cotton Tycoon Mike Thomas.
Soon after the building crumbled crews got to work removing the debris
