(KCEN) -- Police in Pasadena are trying to find out why a two-year-old boy died on a sidewalk.
The sight brought the neighborhood to a stop .
The boy was found unresponsive on a sidewalk, wearing nothing more than a diaper.
Police performed CPR and an ambulance rushed the boy to Bayshore Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
As the adult who was supposed to be watching him stood nearby, neighbors stood in horror.
According to neighbors, he was the youngest of three children.
While mom was at work, they say her boyfriend watched the kids.
An autopsy will be performed on the boy.
No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.
Child Protective Services is investigating the incident.
The other children were taken to a relative's home.
