(KCEN) -- A Brooklyn, New York neighborhood is on high alert this morning following a series of brutal murders.
Authorities are still searching for a possible serial killer who has gunned down three Brooklyn business owners since July.
The victims were all brutally attacked at closing time.
The male suspect is believed to be targeting the Middle Eastern neighborhood.
In all three cases the suspect targeted stores owned by men of Middle Eastern descent.
The latest victim is a 78-year-old Iranian man who was killed inside his woman's clothing boutique this past Friday.
A .22 caliber gun was used to shoot each of the victims.
Shop owners and community leaders say they fear for their safety.
Store Owner David Elmann said, "This is a very scary thing, ya know. I'm Middle Eastern. The whole street is practically Middle Eastern. It's a very scary thing."
Police say they don't have a lot to go on at this time.
None of the stores had surveillance cameras and the victims were alone at the time of the murders.
