Keystone Pipeline Protests Held in Washington, D.C.

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- Protestors demonstrated against the Keystone XL project in Washington, D.C. yesterday.

Activists say the pipeline is bad for America and the earth.

Last January, the President temporarily blocked the pipeline over environmental concerns.

An organizer said the demonstration this weekend was to show Obama that they stand behind him if he rejects the project.

The proposed Keystone XL pipeline would run from Alberta, Canada to Texas.
