(KCEN) -- The U.S. government has filed its response to the writ-appeal made by accused Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Hasan.
The response has been given to the Army's highest appeals court. Now the court must decide what actions to take next.
The court can either make a decision on Hasan's writ-appeal regarding his beard now or can choose to hear oral arguments.
Hasan is accused of killing 13 people and wounding 32 others in a shooting massacre on Fort Hood in November of 2009.
