(KCEN) -- Yesterday was the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, one of the most famous orations in American history.

And yesterday Director Steven Spielberg gave the same keynote address to an estimated crowd of 9,000.

He stood in the same spot where our 16th President did 147 years ago.

Spielberg spent seven years working on his new movie, "Lincoln."

The biographical film is currently in theaters.
