UPDATE (KCEN) -- Nine vehicles were involved in the crash.
There are no reports of injuries but first responders were there to check on those in the cars at the time of the crash, including a baby.
All lanes are now open. Traffic was backed up almost to Belton but is starting to clear now.
Officials are trying to decide if any citations will be issued.

UPDATE (KCEN) -- One lane of I-35 has been reopened after an accident involving several vehicles left all northbound lanes of the highway closed.
The vehicles are being cleared and all lanes should be reopened shortly.

(KCEN) -- An accident involving several vehicles has been reported on I-35 northbound just north of Troy at mile marker 306.
The northbound lanes of the highway have been shut down and traffic is being diverted onto the access road at exit 306.
Reports say four or five vehicles crashed, one of those is possibly a semi truck.
