Scott & White Receives Donation for New Orthopedic Facility

(KCEN) -- A huge donation to Scott & White Hospital will help fund a new 3-story orthopedic facility in Temple.

The 6-million dollar gift is coming from retired south Texas banker Glen Roney and his wife Rita.

Scott & White plans to name the new facility the Glen and Rita Roney Bone and Joint Institute.

Construction crews broke ground on the building in May.

It is slated for completion in September of next year.
