(KCEN) -- Now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas trees are being sold all around our area.
At the Silo Christmas tree farm in Temple, not only can you buy the famous imported Fraser and Douglas firs, but you can even cut your own tree.
Though artificial trees are popular because you can use them year after year, some say you just can't beat a real Christmas tree.
Silo Christmas Tree Farm Owner, Bob Garber said, "First off it's made in America. Okay, that's my biggest point there. The other thing is that when you come home from work at night and you open your front door. The aroma hits you and automatically your whole mood changes."
If you're getting a real tree this year, Garber says you can keep your tree lasting all season by giving it plenty of water and keeping it away from any vents in your home.
A plastic tree can last you as many years as you want to use it.
