(KCEN) -- An Oregon man spent nearly an hour trapped inside his pick up truck, dangling from an overpass yesterday.

Rescue crews were able to use a basket to get the 38-year-old driver out before taking him to a local hospital.

The fire department attached one of its trucks to the dangling vehicle to keep it from falling to the ground.

The man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police say alcohol may have been a factor.
