Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team climbed one spot to #4 in the country in this week's Golf World/WGCA Division III Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The UMHB women totaled 358 points in this week's poll to move up from fifth in the last ranking. Methodist University retains the top spot this week with 17 first-place votes and 425 total points. The Cru is one of three American Southwest Conference teams mentioned in the latest poll. U.T.-Tyler is ranked 20th with 113 total points and Hardin-Simmons is receiving votes worth a total of 20 points. This is the final Golf World/WGCA Coaches Top 25 of the fall.

The Cru women closed out the fall schedule with a 39-stroke victory at the Alamo City Classic in a tournament that saw UMHB set a new school 36-hole low scoring record. The Cru also finished second at the Golfweek Division III Fall Preview, just six shots off the winning pace set by Methodist.

The Golf World/WGCA Coaches' Poll combines the resources of Golf World magazine, Nike Golf and the Women's Golf Coaches Association. The complete results may be viewed online at www.golfdigest.com/magazine/blogs/campusinsider.
