(KCEN) -- A north Texas police officer is now on administrative leave after he was caught on cell phone camera kneeing a teen in the back of the head during an arrest.
Officer Disraeli Arnold can also be heard shouting curse words and threats at the boy in the YouTube video.
After an hour-long meeting with the Hurst Police Department, the boy's mother, Kelly Pope, suggested Arnold should be charged with aggravated assault.
She said, "I was mad. I was hurt. This is supposed to be somebody who is supposed to protect the city and our children."
Pope admits her son struggled with the officers, but calmed down after he was handcuffed.
He was later charged with resisting arrest.
The officer will remain on leave until an internal investigation is complete.
