Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- Nintendo's latest video game system is quickly becoming a hot commodity this holiday season.

The gaming giant sold more than 400,000 Wii U units in its first week on store shelves.

The high definition video game console costs about $300 for a basic eight gigabyte white model.

You'll have to pay $350 for a 32 gigabyte deluxe black model.

Nintendo expects to have 50 different video games available by March.
