11-Year-Old Boy Creates Talking Teddy Bear

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- This holiday season one little boy is not asking Santa for a toy. Instead he's hoping his toy ends up on your wish list.

The 11-year-old inventor is taking the teddy bear to another level.

William Georges said he was bored with his old teddy bear, so he took his mom's mp3 player and put it inside his stuffed animal.

His mom and dad thought it was a good idea and soon Pezo Pals was created.

The teddy bear was perfected and can now tell more than 100 different stories.

It also records your voice and plays music.

Georges said, "I have improved it by adding a personality, and it's magical because it comes alive."

Right now Pezo Pals are being sold in south Florida at Learning Express stores.

But Georges says he isn't just about making a profit.

He would like the toys to end up in the hands of kids who are less fortunate.
