(KCEN) -- The teenager accused of kidnapping and killing a 10-year-old Colorado girl is now being charged as an adult and will be moved to an adult jail.
Seventeen-year-old Austin Sigg confessed to the October kidnapping and murder of Jessica Ridgeway.
Sigg was also charged for the attempted kidnapping of a 22-year old woman back in May.
In a court hearing Tuesday defense attorneys and prosecutors argued about whether Sigg should be transferred to an adult facility.
The court decided Sigg will be moved to the Jefferson County Detention Facility in Golden, Colorado as soon as it's practical.
