(KCEN) -- General Motors is bringing Apple's Siri to the car.

GM has announced that it's found a way to link Siri, Apple's electronic assistant, to two of its smallest cars, the Chevrolet Spark and Sonic.

Siri will be able to perform the same tasks for drivers as she does on their smartphone, all while drivers keep their eyes on the road.

GM will use a phone-powered app for the dash instead of a built-in system which could become outdated in a few years.
