Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- Killeen police are searching for suspects who are accused of stealing more than $20,000 of jewelry from Walmart yesterday morning.

The theft happened between 1:45 and 2:15 a.m. yesterday at the Walmart located at 1400 Lowes Blvd. When an officer arrived, he was told by the Asset Protection Associate that according to video, two white males walked into the store and took the jewelry.

One suspect went to the jewelry section, forced the lock open behind the counter and took more than $20,000 worth of jewelry out. He left the store with the jewelry in his pocket.

The second suspect purchased items at the self checkout and exited the store.

The first suspect is described as an unshaven heavyset white male, wearing a black T-shirt with gray designs and a long sleeve gray shirt underneath and dark-colored pants.

The other suspect is described as a bald, clean-shaven white male with a thin build. He is also taller than the first suspect. He was wearing a tan jacket with a different colored collar and dark pants.

Police believe the suspects might be traveling with another unknown person in a dark blue Chrysler PT Cruiser.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com or text KILLEEN with the tip to 274637.
