(KCEN) -- Here's a love story you don't hear everyday.

Two North Texas burn victims fell in love during their recovery and are now planning their wedding.

You may remember Dallas Wiens.

In 2008 he was severely disfigured by a high-voltage power line and became the first American to receive a full face transplant.

He later met his fiance Jamie Nash at Parkland Hospital.

She was burned two years ago when her car erupted in flames.    

During her recovery she remembers seeing Wiens at a support group.
