Suspects Still on the Loose After Shooting at Waco Convenience Store

Posted: Updated:

Waco Police are still looking for 2 suspects involved in a shooting at a Waco convenience store.

It happened around 9:20 P.M. at 2901 North 18th Street at the "Snack" store. The call came in from neighbors saying multiple shots were fired. The owner of the store and the two suspects exchanged fire, and the owner was shot at least once in the leg.

A second shoot out happened just a short time later as one of the suspects actually came back to the store where he was met by the owner who was still there.

Police are unsure whether of the suspects were injured and they have not identified them yet.

The store owner was taken to Hillcrest Hospital, his condition is unknown at this time. @
